Academic Games Team Excels at the 2012 NOAGL Presidents Tournament

The Brother Martin Academic Games teams performed terrifically at the 2012 NOAGL Presidents Tournament. The tournament coordinators invited U.S. Senator David Vitter to be a guest reader, so the Brother Martin students had an opportunity to take a photo with the senator.

Benjamin Buller tied for 2nd place individually in the Middle Division competition. The Middle Division team placed 5th.

Joseph Arrigo won overall in the Junior Division by 18 points. Nick Brilli and Matthew Reineke also finished in the top ten. The Junior Division team, consisting of Joseph, Nick, Matthew, Owen Bouchon and Dylan McMullen, came in a very close 2nd place.

In Senior Division the team of Kevin Branley (2nd place individual), Brandon Yrle (4th place), Michael Ballmann (7th), Brian Pellerin (9th) and Christopher Maheu (11th) took 1st place by a tremendous 98 points. Currently, the Senior team holds the title for all four games played in the New Orleans Academic Games League.  Congratulations Crusaders on an excellent performance!
