As Senior Logan Betzer reflects on the good times during his time on Student Council, he wishes nothing but the best for the newly elected officers and hopes they get as much out of the experience as he did.
Q – What was your best memory from your time in student council?
A – “My best memories from Student Council involve the crazy skits that I have been a part of during the pep rallies. Participating in the time machine pep rally and crashing Mount Carmel’s pep rally dressed as lifeguards are definitely highlights of my time in Student Council. These pep rallies have been opportunities in which students of different grades can come together to make the school day a little bit better.”
Q – What values did your experiences instill in you?
A – “Student Council has taught me how to lead and cooperate with other people. I have to be able to coordinate and cooperate with others at sign painting and pep rally meetings. These values will help me after high school as I can apply these skills to projects in college and at my future jobs.”
Q – How successful will Student Council be after your graduation & departure?
A – “Student Council will definitely succeed for years to come. Every year, students step up and run for leadership roles in the organization. These leaders set an example for underclassmen who look to fill those roles one day. Mrs. Stroud’s and Mr. Ursin’s love for the organization ensures that it will succeed in its endeavors.”
