Members of the symphonic, novice, and concert bands entertained friends and family at their annual Christmas Concert, held in the Robert Conlin Gymnasium. Under the direction of Mr. Dominick Caronna ’85 and Mr. Chris Bailey ’86, the students performed a variety of seasonal and symphonic pieces including Gustav Holst’s “On This Day Earth Shall Ring,” Marty Hurley’s “Cadences 1 and 2,” Leroy Anderson’s “A Trumpeter’s Lullaby,” and James Swearingen’s “Divinum Mysterium.” A special surprise was a performance of an original piece, “Redemption,” by current student Antonio Suarez ’16. At the end of the concert, senior band members showed their gratitude to the band directors with fun and practical gifts. Merry Christmas from the Crusader Band!
