Congratulations to senior Michael Maldonado on being named one of the A+ Athletes of 2013-2014 on behalf of McDonald’s and WWLTV. Michael is one of eighteen students selected to receive this honor. All of the honorees will attend a luncheon on December 5th where Doug Mouton ’81, Sports Director for WWL, will conduct interviews which will air on WWL-TV and wwltv.com Way to go, Michael.
Michael is President of the Student Council, a Student Ambassador and Recruiter, an Academic Letterman, National Honor Society member, District Literary Rally participant, member of Best Buddies, and on the varsity cross country and track teams. He was a member of the 2013 All-Metro Cross Country Team and the 2011 All-District Track Team. During his junior senior, he received the Tulane Book Prize.
