Yesterday evening, the Brother Martin Track and Field team became Region III-5A champions...

Congratulations to the members of the Track & Field team who competed in the regional meet last night. The following Crusaders qualified for the state meet: Grant Buquoi in the Shot Put; Cody Clement in the Javelin; Jason Paulin in the Pole Vault; Austin Tatum in the 400-meter dash; Eyan Calico in the 3200-meter run; Torey Lambert in the 110 and 300-meter hurdles; and DJ Chestnut in the 800 and 1600 meter runs. Also qualifying were the 4 x 800-meter relay comprised of Luke Regan, Jack Buchanan, Gabriel Levy, and Tre' Palmisano; and the 4 x 400-meter relay comprised of Torey Lambert, DJ Chestnut, Corey Lambert, and Austin Tatum. Contributing to valuable team points were fourth-place finishes by Nico Paulin in the Discus, Eli Levy in the 1600-meter run, and Gabriel Metoyer in the 3200-meter run. The team finished as Region III-5A Champions for the second year in a row.
