The Brother Martin family mourns the loss of Mrs. Lucille Ann Thiele Massicot, a retired long time staff member at Brother Martin High School. Mrs. Massicot passed away on October 24, 2019. She spent over 30 years as a secretary at Brother Martin High School in New Orleans from 1971 until the time she retired in 2001 at the age of 75. In 2001, she was honored with a service award “for her kind and steady guidance to students, faculty and administrators,” according to The 2001 Crusader.

She leaves behind her 6 children – Ronald C. Massicot ‘67 SA, James I. Massicot ‘68 SA (Caryl), John P. Massicot ‘70 (Roberta), Steven J. Massicot ‘72 (Cynthia), Linda Massicot, and Michael M. Massicot ‘76 (Judy). She was also a grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

The Celebration of her life will be held on November 2, 2019, at the James Branton Chapel on the Brother Martin High School campus. Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m. with a funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m.
