Standardized Testing Day on Wednesday, October 10

‘LATE TAKE-IN’/ MORNING ASSEMBLY SCHEDULE
On Tuesday, October 9th, all faculty members will take part in Professional Development from 8:00 a.m. - 8:50 a.m.; therefore, 1st period will not begin until 8:55 a.m. Bonnye Stuart, the author of It Happened in New Orleans, will speak to the faculty about her book during that time. Students will attend similar presentations throughout the day and receive their copies of the book which is this year’s Great Read title. The campus will be open as usual beginning at 6:30 a.m., and Food Services will open at 7:30 a.m. There will be staff members proctoring the building while the faculty participates in their professional development session.

STANDARDIZED TESTING
On Wednesday, October 10th, all 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th graders are required to be on campus to take standardized tests. Students should be dressed in complete school uniform and should bring a calculator and #2 pencils to the testing. Only those seniors who are signed-up to take the ASVAB test should be on campus. All testing will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m.

Below is a list of the tests and approximate dismissal times:

8th grade EXPLORE - 10:45 a.m.

8th grade honors PSAT 8/9 - 12:00 p.m.

9th grade PreACT - 10:45 a.m.

9th grade honors PSAT 8/9 - 12:00 p.m.

10th grade PreACT - 10:45 a.m.

10th grade honors PSAT - 12:00 p.m.

11th grade PSAT - 11:30 a.m

12th grade ASVAB - 12:00 p.m.
