The Brother Martin community and guests are invited to a veneration of our Lady of Fatima in the Branton Chapel on Friday, September 22, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Pope Francis, in January 2017, blessed six Our Lady of Fatima statues and asked them to tour the land, one for each continent. The statue for North America will be coming to New Orleans for 10 days and the school is blessed to be able to help host one of those days on Friday.
In each Religion class, we will take time out of the day and spend time in the Branton Chapel and pray in veneration to Our Lady of Fatima. We will also be using this visit as a teaching opportunity in the classroom to prepare our students for the statue’s visit. While in the Branton Chapel, our students will hear about the history of Our Lady of Fatima and participate in prayers.
We welcome our families and the community to join us throughout the day and spend some time in prayer with Our Lady.

During each scheduled period there will be a 10-minute talk about Our Lady of Fatima, a student prayer and an investiture of the Brown Scapular.
