Swimming Takes Over at Meet

img_4430The swim team finished with a successful night at the UNO Aquatics Center on Wednesday, October 12, 2016. The Crusaders defeated Thomas Jefferson High School and Patrick F. Taylor High School with high scores. The first place individual finishers were Jarrett Bealer ’17 in the 50 yard freestyle, Shawn Brown ’17 in the 100 yard freestyle, Alex East ’19 in the 100 yard backstroke, and Hunter Appleton ’19 in the 100 yard breaststroke.

The team won big sweeping all three relays in the meet: the 200 yard freestyle relay made up of Jarrett Bealer ‘17, Morgan Minix ’17, Cole Desselle ’17, and Shawn Brown ‘17; the 400 yard freestyle relay made up of Tyler Capps ’17, Branden Stewart ’17, Rasheed Lacour ’17, and Anthony Centanni ’17; and the 200 yard medley relay made up of Shawn Brown ‘17, Rasheed Lacour ’17, Anthony Centanni ’17, and Jarrett Bealer ‘17.

The Crusaders will compete in the District Championship on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 4 p.m. at the UNO Aquatics Center.
