Logan Drouet '26

David LaVie '26

Logan Drouet

Logan Drouet is a graduate of St. Dominic School and Valedictorian of the Brother Martin Class of 2026.

During his speech at graduation, Logan shared, among others, the following remarks:

"We are not a cliche. Brother Martin has set a standard of excellence for all of us, but that excellence appears in unique ways. Whether it is earning 5’s on our AP exams, or setting PR’s in track and field. Whether it’s performing with an honor band or achieving a bowling state championship. Each person in this graduating class has had their own firsts and has achieved their own unique goals through their individual talents. We do not all fit the same mold, and there is no one ai-generated “inspiring theme” that could apply to each and every one of us. And so, with that in mind, I strongly encourage all of my peers sitting here today to recognize your own uniqueness and bring it wholeheartedly into this new era. Your varying talents are what the world needs and what will craft your own inspiring legacy for years to come."

David LaVie

David LaVie is a graduate of St. Martin's Episcopal School and Valedictorian of the Brother Martin Class of 2026.

During his speech at graduation, David shared, among others, the following remarks:

"As we leave Brother Martin, we are stepping into a world that needs men of character, compassion, and faith. No matter what the next step in your journey is, whether it is college, trade school, military, or the workforce, you will carry a piece of Brother Martin with you. The lessons we learned here in the classroom, in the Branton chapel, and on the field will guide us to success as we build our futures.
In the end, Brother Martin did exactly what the quote on the wall promised. We learned not just how to make a living; we learned how to make a life. We were taught to live with purpose, serve others, and keep God at the center of everything, and for that, I will always be grateful."
