On Wednesday, April 15, 2026, the Brother Martin Robotics Team visited the NASA Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans. They received a guided tour of the facility, including the Artemis III core stage, which is the largest part of the SLS (Space Launch System) rocket that will launch the crewed Artemis III mission in 2027. They were excited to view this key component just days before it was transported to the Kennedy Space Center.
Our Crusaders also learned about the history of the NASA space program and the assembly facility itself, and how the various parts of space exploration apparatus are designed and constructed.
This was an invaluable experience for Crusaders in our Robotics program. We thank the administration and staff at NASA Michoud for this special opportunity and for their time, expertise, and hospitality.
