As a follow-up to the tremendously moving Mock Crash presentation, Brother Martin hosted a Mock Trial for upperclassmen, further educating "young drivers about the consequences of reckless driving," delivering "powerful messages that encourage healthy behaviors and discourage poor decision-making behind the wheel" (lsp.org).

This Mock Trial was made possible because of the collaboration of University Medical Center New Orleans, Louisiana State Police, and New Orleans EMS through the Sudden Impact Program. We would also like to thank everyone who participated in both of these presentations, including David Bravo of Bravo Law Firm, Jessica Raines of the Jefferson Parish District Attorney’s Office, and Sal Brocato of Brocato Law Firm. We would also like to thank Ms. Joneil Galey for organizing this event on our campus.
