On Saturday, January 17, 2026, the Brother Martin Powerlifting Team impressed with a strong start to their season, placing 6th out of 16 teams in the very competitive Lion Invitational at Covington High School. 

Senior Adam Delaune placed second in his weight class and broke TWO program records by squatting 595 pounds and benching 335 pounds. Freshman Michael Trimber, Senior Andrew Hymel, Junior Gavin Bonck, Sophomore Christopher Balfour, Freshman Owen Burke, and Junior Nicholas Glaudi all finished in the top five of their respective weight classes. 

Your Crusader powerlifters will be back in action on Saturday, January 31st, in the Catholic League Invitational at Shaw. Congratulations, Crusaders!
