After our celebration of Holy Mass today for the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Principal Ryan Gallagher '00 announced that Mr. Patrick McClain is Brother Martin High School's 2025-2026 Bro. More Schaefer Award recipient!

Principal Gallagher spoke about Mr. McClain's commitment to the young men of Brother Martin, sharing that "This year’s Brother More Schaefer Award recipient embodies our educational tradition every day, truly instructing all of us in Coindre’s charism, helping to form us in God’s likeness, and, above all, bearing witness as a Christian example of Jesus’s love for and devotion to our students: those true sacred hearts of Jesus. When we mention in our school prayer, “the selfless service of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart,” we are conjuring this teacher’s example in a commitment to personal attention and friendly discipline with students through a dedication to your individual pursuit of excellence, be it academic or extracurricular, through an understated witness of Gospel Values.

Through these consistent actions, this faculty member demonstrates a belief that every one of us is capable of growth academically, emotionally, and spiritually."
