This morning, we congratulated seniors Daniel Falk '24 and Dylan Rhoton '24 for earning National Merit Finalist status, a distinction reserved for students who score in the top .5% of all high school students who take the PSAT and are then chosen from a rigorous scholarship application process that considers each student’s extracurricular achievements, awards, leadership positions, academic records, and SAT scores. Typically, about 15,000 semi-finalists earn Finalist distinction in the entire country each year.
