Our 8th and 9th grade Crusaders recently went on their respective retreats of reflection, traveling to beautiful locations immersed in the Lord's creation to ponder in moments of quiet solitude as well as participate in thoughtful group discussions.
The Brother Martin 8th grade class went to St. Stanislaus Catholic High School on Friday, October 21 to participate in their day of reflection. Their retreat focused on "what it means to be a Crusader." They participated in small group discussions with our Student Ministry team and had two reflection opportunities, one of which allowed them to pray over the Brothers at the Brothers of the Sacred Heart cemetery located behind St. Stanislaus' campus.
Our 9th grade class went to Camp Abbey on Wednesday, October 26, and their retreat focused on brotherhood. They also participated in small group discussions with our Student Ministry team, reflected and prayed for those in their lives with whom they share a brotherly bond, and worked in small groups during a team-building exercise.
We are thankful to provide a space for our Crusaders to take a moment to pause and reflect on what is really important in their daily lives.
