That's Life….

IMG_5772This week, Crusaders in Mr. Midkiff’s Science class arranged an experiment that was originally performed by the famous Lazzaro Spallanzani in 1768. During that time, the common perception was that Life just spontaneously generated out of non-living materials.  Lazzaro boiled chicken broth, and covered it to avoid any dust particles (that might be carrying microbes) from falling in the broth and causing life to grow. Lazzaro’s results proved that if he left the boiled broth undisturbed and covered, that life DID NOT spontaneously grow.  In simpler terms, he provided evidence that life needed to come from another living organism, or a Creator.
