Crusader Camp Director, Mr. Donald Midkiff '03, shines a light on Brother Martin's 2024 Crusader Camp:
"Brother Martin Crusader Camp was an unforgettable experience filled with fun, learning, and creating new friendships. Over the six-week camp, our campers had the opportunity to participate in baseball, outdoor wilderness, STEM, band, golf, basketball, football, and a number of intramural sports. Each morning our campers spent time honing their skills in their selected concentration and after lunch we played fan favorites like kickball and dodgeball.
Our STEM campers built rocket race cars and showed off their structural engineering skills when they built and tested their bridges. Our outdoor wilderness campers learned how to build fires, follow trails while hiking, and put together essential first aid kits.
2024 Crusader Camp has come and gone in the blink of an eye, but for the nearly 400 campers who spent the summer with us, it might have been their best summer ever! From performing Shrek and The Ugly Duckling on our stage to having our first ever robotics week, our campers had amazing experiences. From getting better at basketball and baseball to seeing the Crazy Crusader, our campers made lasting memories. Our campers also took field trips every week, going on exciting outings to GameOn!, Infinity Science Center, Laser Tag, Global Wildlife Center, and Altitude Trampoline Park, just to name a few.
All of this was only possible because of our amazing staff of coaches and counselors who helped our campers make sure they had the best summer ever!"
