On July 22, the Advancement Office hosted past recipients of the Crimson Shield Award at Katie’s Restaurant in Mid City, which is owned and operated by Scot Craig ’80. Alumni shared stories of past and present experiences while enjoying each other’s company. Advancement & Alumni Director Kenny Spellman ’84 also updated everyone on current school news, encouraged the young alumni to continue striving for excellence, reiterated the importance of staying involved as an alumnus, and communicated what is next regarding Advancement at Brother Martin. Also in attendance were President Greg Rando ’77, Director of Strategic Planning for Advancement Justin Fleetwood, Assistant Alumni Director Chris Alley ’08, Religion Instructor Judy Rodriguez, and Faculty Formation and English Instructor Thomas Mavor.
