On Tuesday, February 21, girls from area Catholic girl’s schools attended a Cheer Tryout Clinic in the Conlin Gymnasium in the hopes of making the Brother Martin 2017-2018 Cheer Team. The clinic was filled with instruction of sideline cheer technique, dance choreography and stunting, in addition to an assessment of tumbling skills. On Thursday night, those same girls came back to the Conlin Gymnasium to perform before a panel of three professional cheer judges.

We welcome all those who will be joining the team for the first time. Brother Martin students will be chosen for the team from a series of open practices. Any students interested in trying out should listen to the announcements following the holidays for those open practice dates.
