Congratulations to the following Chorus students who performed in concert this weekend as part of the Louisiana Music Educators Association District Honor Chorus: Michael Alley, Trey Andrews, Andrew Butler, Nathan Catalanotto, Noah Catalanotto, Carl Davis, Antonio Domino, Hunter Dunn, Cody Elsensohn, Alex Lucas, Nader Masoud, Justin Savoie, and Matthew Sharp.
These students, who were selected by audition, participated in an intensive weekend of rehearsals under the direction of Mr. Sean Ivory. Mr. Ivory teaches at Forest Hills Central High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He also serves as director of the Grand Rapids Symphony Youth Chorus and is an adjunct professor of music at Calvin College.
The concert, which included both the Youth Honor Chorus and the Senior High Honor Chorus, was presented on February 21st at Temple Sinai.
