2016 Junior High Band Night and Cheer Clinic

On Friday, November 4, 2016, Brother Martin hosted its annual Junior High Band Night and Cheer Clinic.

Prospective students from area elementary schools were invited to rehearse and play with the Crusader Band during halftime of the Brother Martin vs. Jesuit football game. During the night, each participant was paired with a current member of the Crusader band while partaking in the thrill of performing in front of Crusader fans at Zephyr Stadium. Then, the Junior High band members finished out the special night by performing the Brother Martin Fight Song on the field at halftime.

In addition, Crusader Cheerleaders welcomed boys and girls ages four and up as Junior Cheerleaders. On Thursday, November 3, a cheer clinic was held in the Conlin Gymnasium where the Junior Cheerleaders learned cheers and stunts in preparation for their performance with the Brother Martin cheerleading team on Friday night. At halftime, the Junior Cheerleaders came out of the stands to show off what they’d learned at the clinic and to cheer the Crusaders on to victory!
