On Friday, September 18th, Brother Martin hosted its annual Career Day. Sophomores, juniors, and seniors attended four 20 minute Career Day sessions giving Crusaders the opportunity to learn about various careers from over 60 different alumni representing 45 different careers. In addition to the sessions, 13 other alumni agreed to meet individually with seniors to share in -depth information about their careers in an one-on-one setting.
The 8th graders attended a special presentation based on the book Dream Training, a motivational book by Colin Gilmartin which is the #1 seller on Amazon for Kids. Our 9th graders listened to a presentation entitled “End Distracted Driving” given by members of the Louisiana Association for Justice.
Thanks to our Alumni presenters for sharing their willingness to share their experience and expertise with our students. We also thank Coach Robert Dauterive ’84, Mr. Colin Gilmartin, and the Louisiana Association for Justice for the special presentations for our underclassmen.
