This past weekend, student leaders from all grade levels and their parents gathered in the Brother Mark Thornton Terrace for the reception portion of this year’s Leadership Celebration. After enjoying food and drink, the crowd moved to the Benson Mall for the presentation of leadership and participation certificates and special awards. Each invited student had his list of accomplishments and activities read as he approached the stage for a certificate. Mr. Justin Fleetwood, Assistant Principal, introduced the Crimson Shield winners, those seniors whom the faculty voted as best displaying a specific named quality. Mrs. Gabrielle Macaluso, Assistant Principal, announced the Golden Crusaders. These seniors are judged by the faculty as those who best exemplify the school’s holistic education. Thank you, student leaders, for your service to school, and congratulations to all award winners.
