Twenty-four Crusaders who qualified at the district literary rally held at UNO earlier this year headed to LSU’s campus in Baton Rouge this past weekend to compete against their counterparts from around the state. Students took pen and paper tests in a variety of subjects, from Latin to Calculus. Crusaders who placed at State Literary Rally were: Zach Baier in Latin I – 3rd Place, Jonathan Gacharna in World Geography – 3rd Place, Michael Ledet in English V – 2nd Place, and Chris Maheu in Physics – 2nd Place.
