The Brother Martin High School President’s Dinner returned to Commander’s Palace this year. The 13th annual dinner was the first for Greg Rando ’77 as President. The evening began with cocktails, hors-d’oeuvres for our special guests and music provided by a Jazz Trio on the patio.
Once in the Patio Room, the President’s Dinner Committee Chairman P. Lindsey Williams ’83 welcomed guests, thanked his fellow members of the committee, and welcomed Mr. Rando and his wife Bonnie. Kraig de Lanzac ’86 followed with a prayer before Mr. Rando addressed the patrons.
Mr. Rando thanked the Gootee Family, represented by Elaine and Pat Gootee ’65 SA, Kathy and Ken Gootee ’70, and Sara and Ryan Gootee for their sponsorship to establish the dinner. After providing an encouraging update on the current state of Brother Martin High School, he thanked Mr. John Devlin and Bro. Ivy LeBlanc for their work as past-presidents and assured everyone that the future of Brother Martin High School is in good hands with a capable faculty and staff prepared to lead.
