Crusader Cook-Off, Homebrew Competition, and Cornhole Tournament Registration

Cook-Off/Homebrew Competition begins at 11:00 A.M. | Cornhole Tournament begins at 11:30 A.M. 

All Brother Martin families, friends, and alumni are invited to enjoy The Crusader Cook-Off Challenge on this day of food and fun. 

Save the date and your appetite for the 2021 Brother Martin High School Crusader Cook-Off & Homebrew Competition on Sunday, October 24, 2021 in the backyard of Brother Martin’s campus. The gates open at 11:00 a.m., and judging will commence at 12:00 p.m. Admission for adults 21 and older is $25, for students $10, and for kids under six years old, admission is free.

All guests will vote for their favorite culinary dish to determine the coveted “People’s Choice Award” and the judges will vote to determine who will be honored with the “Judges Gold Medal Award.”  In addition, all guests 21 and over are invited to vote for their favorite Homebrew.

Celebrity Guest judges scheduled to attend, among others, include:

  • Scot Craig ’80 - Owner, Katie’s Restaurant/Francesca’s
  • Chris Franklin ’00 - Chief Meteorologist/WWL-TV
  • Eddie Jacobs, Jr. ’81 - Owner, NOLA Hotel Group

In addition, an assortment of door and cash prizes will be available at the Cook-Off. Attendees will also be treated to hamburgers, beverages, and desserts. Cash, checks, credit/debit cards are acceptable forms of payment.
