Under the direction of Mr. Kevin Caparotta ’88, the Crusader Chorus took their annual Christmas Concert on the road this year to St. Catherine of Siena Church in Old Metairie. The Christmas Concert was held on Tuesday, December 13 with friends and family of Brother Martin attending this seasonal concert. Over 60 Chorus members performed an assortment of songs while Mr. Kevin Caparotta ’88 served as the conductor with accompaniment by Mr. Kevin Estoque on percussion. Those songs included folk favorites such as “Singabahambayo” and “Cindy” along with traditional songs “Angels We Have Heard On High,” “Here We Come A-Wassailing,” and “Soon And Very Soon,” all lifting the minds and hearts of listeners in this Christmas season. In addition, special renditions from the Alumni Chorus of “It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year” and “Jingle Bells” entertained the audience. Later, these former Crusaders joined their fellow Crusaders to sing “O Sacred Heart,” which closed out the program.
Thank you Director Kevin Caparotta ’88 and the Crusader Chorus on their performance during this most wonderful time of the year!
