Congratulations to Russ Williams whose book, Transition Game-Plan: Simple Steps To Achieving Personal Success, was recently published by 7 House Media. Williams is currently in his fourth year coaching at Brother Martin High School and serves as the eighth grade head basketball coach and a varsity assistant under Head Coach Chris Biehl. “Russ Williams remains a role model for our boys on the basketball team, and he embodies all that any young man should aspire to be,” said Biehl.
Williams is also a devoted Crusader volunteer and participates in various school projects on and off the basketball court.
“I wrote Transition Game-Plan because I wanted to do my part in helping people grow and develop into their best-self.” stated Williams. He recalls his past experiences and understandings of “when the going gets tough, only the tough get going” and navigating through various difficult transitions in life. In today’s society, people face various ups and downs in life while always being given the task of making life-changing decisions. He also informs readers that there are big transitions as well small ones, but that they all matter.
In the book, he also discusses his own personal experiences with transitions from being “sad” to “happy.” Then, he discusses the transition from “success” to “failure,” but having the positive mindset to turn it around to create a positive ending. In every situation, whether good or bad, the transition can be positive.
In addition, Williams stated “I hope this book will also inspire others to develop a Game-Plan that’s beneficial to their transition, and life!”
