Scholarships

To Benefit Brother Martin High School Students

The mission of the St. Aloysius Century Foundation is to provide financial support to help perpetuate the founding charism of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart at Brother Martin High School.  This charism is expressed within the Brothers’ own Rule of Life and their Partners in Mission document.

Scholarships established in the St. Aloysius Century Foundation may be named, by agreement of the St. Aloysius Century Foundation and the donor, in honor of someone identified by the donor, which may be a Brother of the Sacred Heart, a graduate of St. Aloysius, Cor Jesu or Brother Martin, a friend of Brother Martin or family member or friend of the donor.

The amount that is required to fully endow a scholarship is $75,000.00. This amount may be paid in one lump sum or in installments over a designated period of time.  Stock transfers may also be used to support or to endow a scholarship.

An endowed scholarship annually provides direct need-based financial assistance to qualified Brother Martin High School students in the form of work-study grants and tuition reduction. The money dispersed is deducted from interest earned and not from the principal.

As of August 2025, we have 95 endowed scholarships to meet the needs of our students. In addition to these endowed scholarships, we have a number of Distinguished Funds that supplement the needs of our students.
