Students in Mr. Thibodeaux's classes recently put a suspect in the assassination of Gaius Julius Caesar, Marcus Junius Brutus, on trial...
Recently, there was tension in the Brother Martin auditorium so thick that it could be cut with a knife. Why? Marcus Junius "Brutus," a once esteemed orator and politician of Rome, was being tried for the murder of his once friend and fellow countryman, Gaius Julius Caesar. Our Crusaders represented defendants and prosecutors in the trial, and they brought forth evidence from Shakespeare's accounting of the events in an attempt to persuade the jury. In the end, Mr. Thibodeaux's first period class found Brutus guilty as charged. The verdict was read by none other than Judge Judy (Mrs. Debbie) Broussard. Justice is served!
Thank you, Mr. Thibodeaux, for providing such an engaging lesson for our Crusaders, and thank you, Mrs. Broussard, for taking such a hands-on role in the education of our Crusaders!
