Congratulations to the 8th-grade football team for their dominant 21-8 victory over Archbishop Rummel yesterday, moving them to a 5-0 record. The 8th-grade football team’s next game is Thursday, October 16th, against John Curtis. More information about time and location will be announced next week.

Congratulations to the Golf team for their 144-145 victory over Jesuit yesterday afternoon. The 144 score was the lowest the team has scored in the last 13 years, a very impressive feat. The team will be back on the course next Tuesday against Archbishop Rummel at Chateau Country Club.

Students who did not pick up their spirit shirts should pick them up from the Student Services Office TODAY.

Tickets for the Brother Martin Homecoming Dance are on sale in the Student Services Office. The dance will be held on Saturday, October 18th, from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Pontchartrain Center. Tickets are $50.00 per couple if purchased at school and $60.00 per couple if purchased at the door. Buy your ticket by October 17th to save $10.00.

The Crusader football team will face the Archbishop Rummel Raiders tonight at Joe Yenni Stadium. Kick off is at 7:00 p.m. Advance sale tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12 and are only available on the Brother Martin GoFan website. The Brother Martin GoFan website will close at 3:00 p.m. today. After that time, you will only be able to purchase tickets on Rummel’s GoFan website or at the gate. Tickets after 3:00 p.m. will be $15. All Brother Martin students are admitted free of charge with their Student IDs. Joe Yenni has a clear bag policy.

We will begin 1st quarter exams on Monday. Exams are at 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Monday’s exams are 1st period and 6th period in that order.
