Hall of Famer

Marty Hurley, a 37-year veteran of Brother Martin, will be inducted into the LMEA Hall of Fame in November. He tells the story of how he came to Elysian Fields from New Jersey and reflects on the state of music education in New Orleans post-Katrina.

Missionary

Brother Chris Sweeney, S.C., served as religion and PE teacher and Strength Coach at Brother Martin from 2000-2005. He heads for Brazil in October to learn Portugese. He'll be part of an international team of four Brothers selected for the Institute's new missionary effort in Mozambique.
