Guidance Counselors We Have Known

The idea of a high school Guidance Department in didn't take root until the mid-1960s.

The 1966 St. Aloysius yearbook lists one of Brother Paul Montero's duties as Guidance in addition to teaching. By 1968, he is listed as Director of Guidance before becoming Assistant Principal the next year. The final Aloysius yearbook lists Brother Jean Sobert as Guidance Counselor although he had other duties as well.

In Cor Jesu's final yearbook, Brother Jerome Lepre has Guidance as one of his assignments in addition to teaching Religion.
