• Mrs. Sydney Palmisano, one of the first female teachers at Brother Martin, taught German from 1970-77. She was succeeded by Christiane Struppeck, Andrew LeBlanc, and Elfi Celebi, who continued the program until 1995. Both Christiane and Elfi were natives of Germany.
• For several years, Brother Martin offered Russian classes taught by the French teacher, Sue Dee Lazzerini.
