Our Brother Martin Student Ministry team has a sub-committee that makes up a Prison Ministry group of Crusaders. These students assist with various events at Brother Martin and in the community. Last Thursday, September 26th, a group of Prison Ministry members volunteered at the Eric Genuis Concert for Hope at St. Catherine of Siena Church.

The event consisted of an evening of inspirational music with world-renowned composer and pianist. The event benefited 'Concerts for Hope' a ministry which brings beauty and dignity to the forgotten and marginalized members of our society.

Our Crusaders worked as ushers greeting people at each door, handing out programs for a crowd of 650 plus, selling CDs, and conducting the collection baskets toward the end of the concert. Their assistance and presence helped raise a total of $12,500 that was collected for Eric's ministry.
