On Saturday evening, Crusaders of the St. Aloysius Class of 1963 gathered together to celebrate their 55-year class reunion. The reunion committee consisting of AJ Talamo, Frank Giardina, Harold Baur, Harold McGovern, Richie Fritsch, Ron Held, and Ron Messina coordinated the event which had great camaraderie and lively school spirit. During the event, alumni were treated to an appetizing buffet and an assortment of beverages before and after testimonials and pictures. Classmates spoke about their experiences as students at 1137 Esplanade Avenue and even remembered about their being the last 7th-grade class at St. Aloysius High School.
School representatives from Brother Martin that attended the reunion were Mr. Nick Lagattuta ’71 and Bro. Neal Golden ’57 CJ. They were excited to be part of this festive evening at Porter and Luke’s and also were available to take photos and to watch the Crusaders sign their St. Aloysius banner in celebration of 55 strong years together.
