Brother Martin seniors gathered together for their last week of high school on Elysian Fields Avenue. Seniors kicked the week off by wearing their Prom Fest shirts on Monday. On Tuesday, they wore their elementary school shirt and on Wednesday they were able to wear their future college shirt. Lastly, Crusaders dressed as their favorite teacher/ faculty member and received their favorite food for lunch.
On Friday, April 29, the Class of 2016 celebration of their last day began with a breakfast buffet in the Terrace. Next, Fr. Paul Hart ’70 celebrated Mass in the Branton Chapel. After Mass, members of the class attended brief presentations given by alumni. The presentations ranged from networking and making yourself marketable to striking a balance between academic and extracurricular pursuit and pursuing your dream career. The class then relaxed in the backyard with tailgate games and music. Finally, the Alumni Association, in conjunction with Sysco Foods and Brother Martin Food Services, treated the class to a “Steak & Slacks Lunch” to end the day. Alumni dads and grandfathers of current seniors joined the class as volunteer senior moms served lunch and dessert.
