Congratulations to senior Joseph Aguda for being awarded the Louisiana Elks Association Most Valuable Student Award Scholarship for 2018! Over 200 applicants were considered for this award, throughout the state of Louisiana, and Joseph was selected among the best in the state. The Most Valuable Student Award is made possible through the generous participation of the members of the Louisiana Elks Association, the member Lodges, the Elks National Foundation and the Louisiana Elks Fund.
The scholarship is awarded annually to the top seven boys and girls in the state of Louisiana. Joseph is a current senior at Brother Martin and will be graduating with the Class of 2018 on May 25th. Joseph will be attending Louisiana State University in the Fall.
