Brother Martin’s students, faculty, and staff are ‘safe’ in the hands of our 2016-2017 Medical Emergency Response Team (MERT). The MERT completed its training on Saturday, August 27, 2016, in preparation for the new school year. The morning’s instruction, led by Mark Wisniewski ‘81 and Mark Benedetto ‘77, included steps to responding to an emergency, CPR and AED training, as well as ways to respond to choking victims. Those in attendance practiced on the school’s CPR mannequins in order to prepare for an emergency.

The next MERT training for additional volunteer faculty and staff members will take place on Thursday, September 8,2016.
