On Monday, September 30th, Br. Carl Bouchereau, S.C. held a Foundation Day Prayer Service and reflection by the stained glass window on the second floor for the 7th graders to remember the day the Brothers of the Sacred Heart were founded. The prayer service included a short history of the Brothers’ journey from Paradis to Mobile, AL. Prayers for Petition included prayers for vocations to religious life and thanksgiving to the Brothers who were instrumental in the founding of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart. One special prayer of thanksgiving acknowledged the 7th graders, the Class of 2019, who will graduate on the 150th anniversary of the Brothers in New Orleans and who will be the 50th graduating class from Brother Martin High School in 2019.
