MG_2475-e1437763674481-300x300Congratulations to Raymond Price ’13, who has been accepted to participate in the Ignacio Volunteers Program at Loyola University New Orleans. He was one of 200 students who applied to this service program and was chosen along with 11 other individuals. Loyola’s Office of Mission and Ministry offers mission trips to Jamaica, Belize, and South Africa. Price will be serving in Kingston, Jamaica for 11 days during his Christmas/New Year break.  As a part of the program his duties will include working with mentally and physically disabled orphans, caring for elderly people at a Missionaries of Charity hospice, and teaching at a school that was built in the middle of Kingston’s old garbage dump. Price credits Brother Martin for giving him the knowledge and tools for his service-learning skills shaping him into the person the he is today.
