Phase III of the Capital Campaign continues during the summer months with the renovation of the Tom and Gayle Benson Mall, and we are making great progress with each passing day. After modernizing and relocating the library to the 2nd floor and upgrading and relocating the Formation Center, we began the Benson Mall renovations at the end of the 2017-2018 academic year. The Benson Mall renovation consists of a new floor plan for Food Services and the Bookstore, the addition of a concession stand, shiplap layered walls, and floor to ceiling windows along the East and North side of the Benson Mall which provides a great view of the renovated backyard. There is also a complete update to the food service line and kitchen. The center of campus has a distinguished and polished look for our Crusaders to enjoy in the fall of the 2018-2019 school year.
We are excited to share all of the construction updates on campus as we begin to celebrate 50 years of Brother Martin High School and 150 years of Brothers of the Sacred Heart in New Orleans!
