The Brothers of the Sacred Heart will host a Memorial Mass for Brother Warren Laudumiey ’36 SA on Saturday, April 16, 2016 in the James B. Branton Chapel on the campus of Brother Martin. The visitation is at 3 p.m. and the Mass will begin at 4 p.m. Brother Warren passed away at the age of 95 years old on November 28, 2015 and his body was donated to science.
Brother Warren worked and resided at Brother Martin up to Hurricane Katrina. Over his many years as a Brother of the Sacred Heart, Brother Warren played a quiet, but important role in the Brothers’ mission. Early in his ministry, he was one of the first brothers to bring missionary appeal to Africa, specifically to Uganda and Zambia. When he returned to the States, he was a teacher of young brothers in the novitiate.
May Brother Warren rest in peace.
