Join us for Holiday Home Tour on December 7!

On Saturday, December 7th, Brother Martin High School and the Ladies of the Shield will host their annual Holiday Home Tour. Thanks to our generous alumni, parents, and friends, this year we are featuring four fabulous homes in Uptown. All four homes are quintessentially New Orleans!

The schedule and activities at each home follows:

Patron Party 10:30 a.m. – Noon - Our Patrons start the day at 438 Henry Clay Avenue once the event hall that hosted your wedding reception and now an elegant comfortable home perfect for a dynamic young family. All Patrons will enjoy a buffet of food, beverages, and receive a gift. Experience service provided by the Culinary Crusaders, enjoy music by a Brother Martin student flutist and oboist, and a holiday baking demonstration.

Noon- 3 p.m. - All homes open for touring. You can begin your tour at any of the four homes. Along with each home’s own special charms . . .

4104 Prytania Street - explore all three stories of this 19th century Victorian previously owned and renovated by actor Christian LeBlanc.

2702 St. Charles Avenue - stay a while and enjoy a glass of sparkling wine and chocolate desserts while listening to music in the front parlor provided by a Brother Martin student pianist or on the patio, music provided by members of the Crusader Band.

5610 Laurel Street - a New Orleans shotgun house in the same family for decades, now renovated to reflect the comforts of a 21st Century lifestyle, is also the location of our boutique, featuring NOLA Gifts and Kendra Scott (click here for more information).

Again this year we are delighted to be able to provide bus transportation by New Orleans Tours. If you choose to ride the bus, please understand that each bus will be traveling a sequential route dropping off and picking up at each home on tour before returning to the parking area. As the date of the tour nears, we will post the bus schedules on our website. Please note that this year’s tour requires you to navigate uneven surfaces, stairs, and steps.

Limited parking available - St. Francis of Assisi Church, located at 631 State Street, New Orleans, LA 70118, is allowing parking for the home tour from
10 a.m. until 3 p.m. The church’s parking lot can only accommodate approximately 40 vehicles. Please enter the lot from Constance Street.

Patron tickets are $65 in advance or $70 on the day of the tour. The Patron Party ticket also includes one (1) ticket to the home tour. Holiday Home Tour tickets are $30 in advance and $35 on the day of the tour.

In support of this event, we invite you to participate as a Holiday Home Tour Sponsor or Patron. Proceeds from the home tour are dedicated to the Brother Jean Sobert, S.C., Student Activities Endowment at Brother Martin.

Please email or mail this form to Brother Martin High School, 4401 Elysian Fields Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70122, Attn: Julia Gandolfi, 2019 Holiday Home Tour.
