Throughout the week in Mr. Thomas Heller’s Economics Class, seniors are sharing their final Presentation Projects with their fellow classmates and faculty members. Each student had to choose a Company or Product that they were enthused about and research the subject thoroughly including its history, business model, and financial status. The Economics students were then prompted to create a flyer, a tri-fold, and a presentation to convince their fellow students to invest in their company or product. For each presenter, the emphasized project skills included Economic Research, Public Speaking, Attire, and Presentation.
Next week, during the seniors’ last school week, the class will have Alumni guest speakers in all fields of Economics to answer any questions the students have before graduating.
“Although this project may have seemed very intimidating, it was actually quite enjoyable! I had a great time with my classmates exploring possible companies and products. This was a great way to prepare for future collegiate presentations while exploring the business world. Personally, I cannot wait to be able to do this again in college and in a professional career soon after,” commented Cody Knight ’18.
