Congratulations to three of our senior wrestlers who have been named to the 2020-2021 LHSAA All-Academic Wrestling Class. The LHSAA All-Academic Award program, presented by ISC, recognizes the academic excellence of Senior student-athletes who have attained a 3.5 grade point average or higher by placing them on the Class All-Academic Team. The Class Team is composed of student-athletes with six-semester GPA of 3.5-3.999 and will receive a certificate by their school.

The Brother Martin senior wrestlers named to this year’s All-Academic team are Sean Michael Cursain '21, John DiMaggio '21, and Chase Scott '21. Brother Martin is proud of these student-athletes for their outstanding talent and hard work in the classroom and on the mat.

Per LHSAA’s guidelines, in order to be selected to the All-Academic Team, the student-athlete must be a senior, must have participated in the sport for at least two years, and must have achieved a six-semester cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5 or better based on a 4.0 scale. Note: Honors classes are not considered.
