Congratulations to six of our senior soccer players who have been named to the 2017-18 LHSAA All-Academic Team. The LHSAA All-Academic Award program, presented by ISC, recognizes the academic excellence of Senior student-athletes who have attained a 3.5 grade point average or higher by placing them on the Class All-Academic Team. The Class Team is composed of student-athletes with six-semester GPA of 3.5-3.999 and will receive a certificate by their school.
Per LHSAA’s guidelines, in order to be selected to the All-Academic Team, the student-athlete must be a senior, must have participated in the sport for at least two years, and must have achieved a six-semester cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5 or better based on a 4.0 scale. Note: Honors classes are not considered.
The Brother Martin senior soccer players named to this year’s All-Academic team are Blake Robbins, Brandon Robbins, Ethan Mauterer, Michael Barkemeyer, Nicholas LeBlanc and Ryan Simoneaux. Brother Martin is extremely proud of these student-athletes for their outstanding talent and hard work in the classroom and on the field.
