On February 6th and 7th, all junior Religion classes made sandwiches for the homeless population at Ozanam Inn. Ozanam Inn is a homeless shelter and soup kitchen of the Archdiocese of New Orleans administered by the St. Vincent DePaul Society. Ozanam Inn also has a program to assist the homeless of New Orleans with finding employment, as well as housing. The Inn also had a medical and dental program, fills prescriptions for the sick, and offers legal aid. On both sandwich-making days, the last class of the day took the food to the shelter and toured the facility. Plans are being made for additional ways that the Crusaders can assist the poor.
