The Crusaders earned their first win of the season by overpowering the tough Hahnville Tigers, 21-6, Friday night.
Brother Martin scored on the first drive, and never looked back. The Crusaders’ hard-working defense checked the Hahnville offense, keeping one of the state’s top players (Anthony ‘Pooka’ Williams) with nowhere to go. Crusader Matthew Alfonso scored three times and teammate Chris Smith rushed 112 yards on 20 carries making the duo key to the Brother Martin win.
